Payment and Deposits
- Most major Credit Cards are accepted onboard.
- All our rates are inclusive of Value Added Tax.
- Our payment terms are strictly “CASH on Delivery”, unless an account is held with M CABS Ltd.
- Rates applicable may be subject to additional waiting time as well as parking charges.
- The charge on your credit card statement will be shown as M CABS Ltd.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- If a reservation is cancelled by the Customer within 24 hours from the start of the period of hire, 50% of all monies paid will be non-refundable.
- If the reservation is cancelled within 4 hours from the start of the period of hire, 100% of all monies will be non-refundable.
- If the Customer does not show up / appear at the time and place designated as pick up point within 15 minutes, all monies will be non-refundable.
Special Periods of Activity
- We reserve the right to charge differently from our web site rates for periods of exceptional activity and higher than usual demand for our services, such as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day; New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day; Easter Sunday, or any other Special Events happening at the time on our Island.
- We may find it necessary to increase our prices in order to secure the services of our chauffeurs, who will be very much in demand.
- Any reservations made during these periods are subject to a 50% deposit or full payment as deemed necessary. Any cancellations will be considered as non-refundable of payments already effected.
Terms & Conditions
- M Cabs request a minimum of 2 hrs notice and subject to confirmation for any online reservations
- If you want to book a drive with less than 24 hours notice – Please call us on our CUSTOMER CARE line on 00356 99 93 94 95.
- Whilst we do our very best to ensure our Chauffeurs are punctual, one will have to understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Our Chauffeurs will drive safely and at sensible speeds in accordance with road Conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.
- Customers are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and they will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle back to working order.
- We may provide subcontracted vehicles occasionally.
- By supplying us your email address you permit M CABS to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party.
- If there are any changes or variations including extra kilometres to the trips other than to what was agreed at time of reservation, the Customer will be charged extras in accordance with the pricing structure on our website.
- We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
- Every effort will be made by M CABS Ltd. to ensure that our vehicle(s) or Sub-Contractor(s) arrive on time.
- Our Chauffeur(s) will drive by the most appropriate route of the day, unless instructed otherwise by the Customer at the time of reservation.
- M CABS Ltd’s vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passengers and third party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and M CABS Ltd. shall NOT be held responsible / liable for any loss / damage to such property.
- M CABS will keep a lost property book at their office, and will endeavour to return any lost goods left in our vehicle(s) or sub-contracted vehicle(s) to the customer.
- M CABS Ltd. and its Chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the Chauffeur, the vehicle, or any other passenger(s).
- M CABS Ltd. have Child Seats, Baby Seats and Boosters available at an extra charge, for which the Customer is responsible for fitting the SEAT for the BABY / INFANT to use.
- M CABS maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles.
- The rates and tariffs applicable on the M CABS web are for single point to point basis. Two destinations pick ups or drop offs are subject to different rate supplements, starting from a minimum of € 5.00, per extra destination.
- M CABS Ltd. reserves the right to charge extra for waiting charges. Such charges are applicable at an extra € 5.00 after the first 15 minutes of waiting and subsequent € 5.00 for every other part of the next 15 minutes of extra waiting. Cancellation of trip on the spot is subject to full charges payable.
- M CABS Ltd. reserves the right to charge a supplement for extra to normal luggage as deemed necessary at source.
- Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the Customer’s statutory rights.
Arrivals and Departures Reservations
- UNLESS otherwise stated, waiting time is 1 hour after the actual arrival time. After this time the vehicle(s) will be released.
- PORTERAGE is not included.
- IF your flight is delayed we will check the flight information in advance and adjust your pick up time accordingly. In the case of connecting flights, please note that we are only able to check the flight details supplied at time of reservation.
- For DEPARTING Customers, these are to ensure that they are waiting at point of pick up / main lobby of accommodation, at least 5 minutes prior to confirmed pick up time.
- IF you are unable to locate your driver for any reason, it is your responsibility to call us on our CUSTOMER CARE number for assistance.
- It is IMPORTANT, to inform us on our CUSTOMER CARE number of any last minute changes to amend your reservation accordingly.
- UNLESS otherwise stated at time of reservation, 1 piece of medium sized luggage is allowed per person. Hand luggage should be small enough to be carried on your lap. The CUSTOMER must cover costs incurred in transferring extra luggage.
Tips
TIPS are NOT included; these are most welcome at your discretion.
